- 2 cups diced, peeled potatoes
- 1/2 lb. fresh asparagas, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 1 T chicken bouillon granules
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- 12 bacon strips fried crisp and crumbled
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Layered Salad

Place ingredients in large salad bowl in layers as listed above
- 1 head lettuce
- 1 head cauliflower, broken into bite-size
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked & crumbled
- 1/3 to 1/2 c. sugar & 2 c. mayonnaise (mix until smooth)
- 1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese

- 2 1/2 to 3 tsp. salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium-size green bell pepper, chopped

- 1 (10 3/4-oz.) can cream of mushroom soup

- 1/2 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 6 to 8 sliced tart apples
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

- 1 bottle of stale beer - left out 6-8 hours
