Ingredients
- 1 (20-oz) can crushed pineapple
- 1 (21-oz) can cherry pie filling
- 1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Dump 1 can crushed pineapple into a 9x13-inch pan (juice included). Dump a can of cherry pie filling on top of pineapple. Spread on package of cake mix (dry) over the above ingredients but do not mix. Dot pieces of butter over the cake mix. Top with 1/2 cup chopped nuts, if desired.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 45 minutes or until brown. Let cool and serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
