Ingredients

  • 16 oz can crushed pineapple (reserve juice)
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp white vinegar
  • 8 oz cool whip
  • 3 cups apples cut up
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Step 1

MUST PREPARE THE NIGHT BEFORE

Mix pineapple and marshmallows. Set aside and cover
In a saucepan heat pineapple juice, flour, sugar, egg and vinegar. Cook until it slightly thickens.
Put in refrigerator overnight.

In morning combine sauce with cool whip.
Fold in marshmallows
Add apples (cut right before) and nuts
Sprinkle top with additional nuts
Refrigerate
