Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 broccoli rabe trimmed and coarsely chopped
  • 1 1b orechiette'1/2 cup olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 5 anchovy fillet, mashed
  • 1 tdp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Shaved parmesan

Preparation

Step 1

Cook broccoli rabe in large pot of salted water for 3 minutes. Remove from water and drain. Add pasta to water, reserve 1 cup pasta water.
In large skillet heat oil over med heat, and cook garlic until softened about 1 minute. Stir in anchovies, and rd pepper. Add broccoli rabe, pasta, and reserve water. Cook until heated through. Stir in almonds. Season with salt and parmesan.
