Dinner Rolls, Bread Machine Style


Classic dinner rolls made easy in the bread machine! This recipe is easy enough for every day, but delicious enough for any special occasion or holiday.

  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons margarine; softened
  • Margarine or butter, melted
  • 3 teaspoons regular active dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 teaspoons bread machine yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Margarine or butter, melted

Step 1

Place all dough ingredients in the bread pan in the order listed. Reserve melted margarine or butter for a later step.

Select SWEET DOUGH cycle.

Grease a cookie sheet.

Divide dough into 15 pieces. Shape each piece into ball.

Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Brush tops with melted margarine or butter.

Cover and let rise 30 to 40 minutes or until double.

Heat oven to 375°F. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Brush tops with additional melted butter or margarine if desired.

My Husband loves these! Very easy to make.
