Ingredients
- Topping:
- 8 T butter
- 2 c sugar
- 1 c buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1 t baking soda
- 2 ½ c flour
- 3 c finely cut rhubarb
- ½ c pecans
- 8 T butter
- ¾ c evaporated milk
- 1 c sugar
- 1 t vanilla
- Mix together and bring to boil; boil 3 ½ mins. Beat with spoon. Pour on top of cake.

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and 1 ¾ c sugar until light. Add buttermilk and flour. Stir rhubarb into batter. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Remaining ¼ c sugar and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake 350 degrees. Not sure on baking time
Note: Can use dried buttermilk.
Can use 10x 14 pan with same amount of baking time.
