Ingredients

  • 4 pounds chuck roast - (to 5 lbs)
  • 1 clove garlic clove
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 1 celery stalk chopped
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 3/4 cups sour cream mixed with
  • 3 tablespoons flour and 1/2 cup dry white wine

Step 1

Rub roast with garlic and season with salt and pepper. Place in the crock-pot and add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW 10 to 12 hours.
