Ingredients
- 450 gm lentils or split peas
- 2 carrots chopped fine
- 2 onions chopped fine
- 7 oz tomatoe sauce
- 1/2 cup oil
- 5 cloves garlic -whole
- 1 Tbsp oregano
- 3 bay leaves
- salt & pepper
- 2 Tbsp wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp rosemary

Preparation
Step 1
8 cups water, lentils - boil 10 min. Strain and add new water - cook 1 hour with onions, carrots & garlic. Add oil, tomatoe sauce, oregano, 1/2 cup water, rosemary in a bag, bay leaves, 1 Tbsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper. Cook 10 min and add vinegar
