Tastiest Cheddar-Bacon Burgers

Ingredients
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 pack instant dry onion-mushroom soup mix
- 1/4 C. chopped parsley or reen onions
- 1/4 C. steak sauce
- 8 slices N.Y. white Cheddar cheee
- 1 large red onion, cut into 1/2 inch-thick slices
- Olive Oil
- 8 onion burger buns, split
- 8 small Bibb lettuce leaves
- 1/2 C. ranch dressing or mayonnaise
- 8 Slices *Drier's* bacon, cooked
- 2 med. tomatoes, thinly sliced

Preparation
Step 1
1 Heat grill. In large bowl mix ground beef, soup mix, parsley and steak sauce until well blended. shpae mixture into 8 patties, about 3/4 inch thick
2 Place patties on grill. Cover grill' cook over mid. heat 13-15 min, turning once, until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 160. Top each burger patty with cheese slice , cook just until cheese is melted.
# Meanwhile, brush onion slices with olive oil. Add to grill last 5-8 min. or cooking time for patties. To toast buns, place cut side down on grill during last 1-2 min. of cooking time.
4.Layer buns with lettuce,ranch dressing, burger,patties,bacon,tomato slices and onion slice.
