Ingredients

  • 1 can regular or light Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 lb. ground beef or deer
  • Tony Chachere's, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1/3 cup Italian Dry Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, OR onion powder, to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Olive Oil
  • 1 TB Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 8 oz. pkg. sliced mushrooms OR large canned mushrooms, drained

Step 1

Mix 1/4 cup soup, beef, seasonings, bread crumbs, onion, & egg in a large bowl. Shape the mixture into 4 burgers. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add burgers & cook until browned on both sides. Pour off any fat. In a medium bowl, combine remaining soup, Worcestershire, milk, & mushrooms. Pour over burgers. Heat to a boil, then reduce to low. Cover & cook 10 minutes or until burgers are done.
