Ingredients
- 1 (15 oz) box Raisin Bran
- flakes
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 t. baking soda
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 5 c. all purpose flour
- 1 t. salt
- 1 c. salad oil (Crisco)
- 1 c. pecans, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Mix cereal, sugar, flour, nuts, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in eggs, oil and buttermilk. Store in a large covered container in the refrigerator. Do not stir again until ready to bake. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full and bake in 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
Makes 6-8 dozen. This batter will keep 6 weeks in the refrigerator.
