Ingredients
- sauce:
- onion chopped
- 1 large, 1 medium can tomatoes, chopped
- 1 large, 1 medium can tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup sugar
- juice of 3 lemons
- lots of raisins
- cabbage rolls:
- 1 3/4 lb beef
- 2 eggs
- onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup raw white rice
- salt, pepper
- cabbage

Preparation
Step 1
1.simmer ingredients for sauce for 20 minutes, then add raisins in and cabbage rolls. cook slowly on stovetop for 2 hours. then put in oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
2. to make cabbage rolls: mix all ingredients except cabbage (to separate cabbage steam the cabbage then it is easier to pull apart). roll up and tuck under and use a toothpick to hold together.
