  • 1 pound of kosher salt

Step 1

heat the 2 quarts of veg broth along with the 1 pound of alt and water with the honey. bring to a boil. turn off the heat and let it cool down before putting your turkey into a bucket.then add the ice and brine the turkey for 24 hours or more
