Tomato-Basil-Mozzarella Salad

  • 3 tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella chees, cut into
  • 1/4-inch thick slices
  • 1-1/2 Tbl. olive oi
  • 1-1/2 Tbl. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • fresh basil sprigs


Servings 4


Step 1

Arrange tomato and cheese alternately on individual serving plates, overlapping edges. Combine olive oil and lemon juice; brush over top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; cover and chill. Garnish if desired with fresh basil sprigs.
