Crawfish Etouffe

  • 1 lb crawfish (seasoned withTony's)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 tbs Tomato paste
  • 1 stick butter, unsalted
  • seasoning to taste



Step 1

Saute all veggies in butter until soft, 20mins or so
Season with Tony's
Add tails and 1tbs cornstarch mixed with 1/2 glass water
Add water/cornstarch mix slowly and stir
Let simmer 15 mins.
Add more water if necessary
Adjust seasoning to taste
Serve over cooked rice. Garnish with scallions or it can be used as a topping over fish or chicken
