Ingredients
- 1/2 cup turbinado sugar or demerara sugar (a type of raw sugar that can be found in the baking aisle of most grocery stores)
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 cups Silk Original soy milk or Silk Pure Almond almond milk
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 2 ripe bananas

Preparation
Step 1
1.Over medium heat, simmer sugar with water until the sugar begins to thicken and becomes very bubbly, approximately 10-15 minutes.
2.Slowly and carefully add 1 cup of Silk to the mixture. Sugar will immediately harden. Stir gently until caramelized sugar completely dissolves into the Silk.
3.Add a small pinch of salt and the vanilla.
4.Blend remaining 2 cups of Silk with bananas and add to the saucepan. Gently heat through, but avoid simmering.
