Leftover Turkey and Dressing Casserole

By

I made this with leftover turkey breast, stuffing and mashed potatoes. It turned out really good!

Because we didn't have a huge Thanksgiving dinner, this recipe is small. But you can probably adjust to make it fit your family size.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of leftover dressing
  • 1 cup of turkey meat
  • 2 cups of mashed potatoes (not too dense. Mine were very creamy)
  • 3/4 cup of shredded cheese (optional)
  • Turkey gravy (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

In a small baking pan/dish, add the stuffing. Push it down to make a "crust". Add the turkey on top of the stuffing. Add the creamy mashed potatoes on top of the turkey. If you want cheese, add the cheese on top of this. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly or the cheese is melted and browned.

I found that putting gravy on top of a serving makes it less dry and tastier.

Enjoy!
