Ingredients
- 2 crusts for pie
- 3 large apples peeled, cores, sliced
- 2 tablespoons dark honey
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 3 pats of butter
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 for 10 minutes. Add ingredients as listed in layers except butter.
Add top crust, make 3 slices in crust for steam. Put butter pats in the vents.Wet fingers with water & wash top of crust.
Add aluminum sheet slices or crust protectors for edges. Use a glass pie plate to see how the crust is doing underneath.
Bake at 400 for 10 to 15 minutes or until bottom of the crust is browned and not mushy. Lower heat to 350 and cook 25 to 30 minutes longer to steam insides.
