Ingredients

  • 1 kg (2 lbs.) frozen hash browns
  • 1 500 ml (2 cups) sour cream
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 t onion powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 500 ml (2 cups) grated cheddar cheese

Thaw hash browns slightly. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients. Place in a 9-inch by 13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350˚F for 1 to 1-1/2 hours.
