Ingredients
- 3 large Apples, peeled and cored
- 1/3 cup Butter, melted
- 3 Eggs
- 3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1 tbsp. Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon or Nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
Cut apples into 1/2" thick slices and set aside.
In blender of food processor,blend 2 tbsp. of the butter, eggs, flour, milk, sugar and salt until smooth. Set batter aside.
In 10" cast iron or heavy ovenproof skillet, heat remaining butter over medium heat and cook apples, brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring occasionally until golden and tender, 15 min.
Pour batter over apples and bake at 425 F until puffed and edge is browned, about 20 min.
Invert onto serving plate and scrape the remaining apples and syrup onto the puff. Serve immediately.
