Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 onions- chopped
  • 1 green pepper- chopped
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups canned tomatoes - diced
  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • red pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 lb cooked salad shrimp
  • Rice

Step 1

Saute onions and green peppers in butter. Stir in flour, salt and red pepper, add everything else but shrimp. Simmer 15-20 min. Add shrimp, simmer 5 more min. Serve over rice.
