Ingredients
- 2 quarts of vegetable stock
- 1/2 c. salt (3/4 c. kosher or coarse salt)
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1 tablespoon dried sage
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 2 quarts cold water

Step 1
In a large pot, combine vegetable stock, sugar, salt, and herbs over medium heat. Simmer for about 15 minutes until the slat is completely dissolved
Remove from heat and allow to cool. Add cold water.
Place turkey in brine container or bag. Pour brine over top. Cover and refrigerate for an hour per pound.
Thoroughly rinse all brine form turkey before placing in roasting pan. Cook according to turkey roasting instructions.
