Squash Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. squash, sliced
- 1 stick butter
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 med. onion, grated
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 soup can of water
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 3/4 to 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix

Preparation
Step 1
Cook squash until tender, drain. Add salt and pepper, onion and carrot. Pour soup, water and sour cream into squash mixture. Stir thoroughly. Melt butter and add stuffing mix. Layer squash mixture and layer of stuffing mixture, ending with stuffing mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Five minutes before casserole gets done, add cheese to top of casserole.
