Flaky Chicken Pot Pie

  • 2 15-oz. cans mixed vegetables, drained
  • 10-oz. can chicken, drained
  • 1/2 t. garlic powder
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 10-3/4 oz. cans cream of chicken soup

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; spread into a greased 13"x9"
baking pan. Spread Topping evenly over top; bake at 400 degrees for
30 to 35 minutes, until golden.

Serves 6.

1/2 c. butter
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. milk
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
2 t. baking powder

Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan over low heat; remove from heat. Whisk in flour until smooth; add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Mixture may be lumpy.
