Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Walnuts

- 3 slices bacon
- 1 lb. Brussels sprouts
- Dash freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup Fisher® Chef's Naturals Walnut Halves and Pieces

Preparation
Step 1
1.Preheat oven to 375°F.
2.Cook bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy. Remove bacon to a paper towel lined plate; reserve bacon fat. Crumble bacon; set aside.
3.Cut off the ends of the brussels sprouts and pull off any outer leaves. Cut sprouts in half lengthwise. Mix them in a bowl with pepper and 2 Tbsp. of the reserved bacon fat. Place sprouts on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes stirring occasionally until nearly tender. Add walnuts to the pan and cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until sprouts are fully cooked. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and serve immediately.
