Ingredients
- 2 lbs apples, peeled, sliced (5 1/2 cups) 6-8 apples
- 1/4 c water
- 1/2 c granulated sugar
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg and cinnamon
- lemon juice
- 1 stick butter
- crunch topping
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 c oatmeal
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Mix apples, water, sugars, cinnamon and nutmeg. Layer apples in bottom of 1 qt casserole dish. Dot with 1/2 stick butter.
Mix crunch topping ingredients until it resembles crumbs. Sprink on top.
Bake 350 for 30 minutes.
