MACARONI AND GRUYERE CHEESE

- 2 c macaroni
- 1/2 liter milk
- 1 t maragine
- 3 T flour
- Pepper
- Salt
- Nutmeg
- 1 Egg yoke
- Heavy cream
- 1 block of gruyere cheese, grated

Step 1
Boil macaroni according to instructions, but only boil until “al dente”. Drain well.
Boil ½ liter milk in which you have added appr. 1 t margarine. In a mixing bowl mix 3 T flour with some milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix very well. When the milk boils, remove from heat and add the mixture and stir VERY well. Add the egg yoke and stir well. Add the heavy cream. Place pan back on stove, reduce heat and add the grated gruyere cheese. Add a little bit at a time and stir VERY well.
Pour mil/cheese mixture over cheese et voila, finished. Serve with a salad. Enjoy!
