PEACH DUMPLINGS ( Victoria & Cordell Bundren)

Ingredients

• 1 . SYRUP: Edit Delete
• 2 ) 1 cup sugar Edit Delete
• 3 ) 1 tablespoon butter Edit Delete
• 4 ) 2 cups boiling water Edit Delete
• 5 ) 2 cups sliced peaches Edit Delete
• Add Ingredient to this Sub Section
• In a large pan, combine sugar, butter, boiling water and bring to a boil. Add peaches.

1) 2 cups all purpose flour Edit Delete
2) 2 teaspoons baking powder Edit Delete
3) 1/2 teaspoon salt Edit Delete
4) 1 cup half-and-half Edit Delete
5) cinnamon sugar, optional Edit Delete
Add Ingredient to this Sub Section

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and half-and-half. (This makes a fairly stiff batter.) Drop by tablespoonfuls into boiling peach mixture. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve hot. If desired, sprinkle with a little cinnamon sugar and serve with cream or ice cream.
