Ingredients
- Perfect Snickerdoodle Dough:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup flour
- Dash of Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Filling:
- 4-6 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2.Dough:
Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. In small bowl, mix flour, salt, cream of tartar and soda. Slowly add dry ingredients to butter mixture until a soft dough forms. Shape dough into 1" balls. Combine the tablespoon of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Roll balls in cinnamon mixture. Set aside.
3.Filling:
Arrange apple slices in an even layer in an 9x13" baking dish. Stir brown sugar and cinnamon into apples.
4.Slightly flatten the snickerdoodles and place across the surface of the apples.
5.Bake for 35-40 minutes.
