Black Bean, Chicken, and Avocado Puree

  • 1 15oz can organic no/low sodium black beans
  • 1 steamed/cooked chicken breast (hormone/antibiotic free)
  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1 steamed red bell pepper
  • optional seasoning: ground pepper, garlic powder



Step 1

Cook the can of organic beans on the stove top. Reserve some of the liquid from the cooked beans to help with the pureeing of all ingredients.

Dice the cooked chicken, avocado, and bell pepper.

Put everything in a food processor and puree until desired consistency is reached. Add black bean liquid if necessary to thin out the puree.

Portion out into ice cube trays or muffin tins and freeze until ready to use.
