Ingredients
- 1 frozen pie crust (9-inch), thawed
- 1 can (21 oz each) apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Dash of salt
- 1/4 cup cold butter
- Cool Whip or Vanilla Ice Cream

Preparation
Step 1
1.Preheat oven to 325F.
2.Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch; add butter. Stir in pie filling. Pour pie filling into pie crust; set aside. Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over pie filling.
3.Place pie on bottom rack of oven. Bake 40-45 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Cool slightly. Cut into 8 slices to serve. Top with Cool Whip or ice cream, if desired.
Tip: If the topping is browning too quickly, cut out a circle of aluminum foil and place on the center of the pie.
