Ingredients
- 2-15 ounce cans chickpeas, drained & rinsed
- 1-8.5 ounce jar sun dried tomatoes in olive oil
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil or more
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 Tbls. tahini
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne or more to taste
- 1-2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup fresh chopped basil

Preparation
Step 1
In blender or food processor, combine first 10 ingredients and blend until smooth. Add additional olive oil if mixture is too dry. Pulse in basil to desired consistency. Serve with pita chips or baguette bread.
