Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 T. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. water
  • dash pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Boil first 5 ingredients together til sugar is completely dissolved.

2. Add 1/4 c. cold water to the cornstarch. Add pepper.

3. Slowly add cornstarch mixture to hot pumpkin mixture, stirring til sauce is thickened. cool.
