Chicken broccoli sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 # broccoli (if frozen thawed but uncooked, if fresh - lightly steamed)
  • 2 cans of chunk chicken breasts drained
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 C milk
  • 1/8 t black pepper
  • 1 C shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 C cooked rice or 2 C cooked pasta or 6 prebaked biscuits
  • cooking spray

Preparation

Step 1

Mix soup, milk and pepper. Spray a baking dish with cooking spray and spread broccoli over the bottom of the dish. Drain and separate chicken chunks with a fork and empty cans over the top of the broccoli. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and broccoli in the baking dish. Top with cheese and bake at 450 for 15 minutes and the cheese is melted. Serve over the top of rice, pasta or biscuits.
