Ingredients

  • Mix items below and pat half of dough into 9x13. Take remainder of dough and roll out for top crust.
  • 2 1/2 2 ½ C. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 C. Crisco
  • 2/3 C. milk
  • Peel and slice 6 cups apples. Add ~1 C. sugar and ½ to ¾ tsp. cinnamon. Stir and put on top of crust. Place rolled out crust on top. Bake at 375 for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown.

½ C. powdered sugar
3 tsp. hot milk
dash of vanilla.
