Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 T. confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour (stir to aerate before measuring)
- 2/3 c. flaked coconut, chopped fine

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Gradually work in flour until blended. Stir in coconut. Chill if necessary to have firm enough to handle. Using 1 level tablespoon for each, share into balls. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven until bottoms of cookies are golden-brown -- about 15 to 18 minutes.
