Ingredients

  • 7 c. sliced cucumbers, sliced thin
  • 1 c. onions
  • 1 c. green pepper, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoon celery seed
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon coarse salt
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 2 c. sugar

Step 1

Mix vegetables, salt and celery seed. Mix well and let stand 10 minutes.

Mix vinegar and sugar and pour over vegetables and mix well. The mixture will seem to need more liquid, but by morning, there will be plenty. Store in refrigerator covered. This keeps for weeks!
