Golden Beef Stew

  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 to 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 4 potatoes, cubed
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean beef stew meat
  • frozen vegetables (peas, green beans, etc), if desired
  • roux (1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup
  • salt and pepper to taste


Servings 4


Step 1

Combine first 7 ingredients in dutch oven. Cover and cook until potatoes and meat are fully cooked. Add frozen vegetables, if using, and mix in the roux to thicken.
