Jewish Apple Cake
I urge you to make this as soon as you can. It is the best!
- Pre-Heat Oven to 350 degrees
- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 7 apples
Preparation time 30mins
Cooking time 31mins
In a separate bowl, cut apples in slices or quarters (whichever your prefer), sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside
In a large mixing bowl combine all other ingredients and beat until smooth. Make sure there is no lumps in batter.
Grease tube pan and coat with flour.
Pour 1/2 batter in pan, then apples rest of batter. Top with apples.
Sprinkle with Cinnamon and bake for 1 1/2 hour or until toothpick comes out dry.
