French Onion Soup- The Dock

Ingredients
- 1 loaf french bread
- 3 med onions chopped (4C)
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 T. flour
- 1/3 c. red wine
- 1/2 # domestic swiss cheese, sliced
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 envelope liption onion soup
- 2 - 10 1/2 oz. beef boullion soup
- 1 t. instant boullion
Details
Preparation
Step 1
toast 6 slices in 400 over, 10 min until toasted
saute until onions are soft
stir in all but cheese
simmer 1 hour
Place bread in over proof soup bowls. Pour in soup. Top with 2-3 slices of cheese. Place bowls under brailer until cheese melts.
