Sauerkraut and Pork

Ingredients
- 4-5 lb pork roast
- 1 onion, quartered
- 1 can sauerkraut
- 1 can water
- Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1
Salt and pepper roast to taste. Place roast in baking pan and add onion. Bake for 2-3 hours at 350 degrees. Remove roast from pan. Add enough water to get the rich brown drippings from roaster. Put in small pan to make gravy. Put roast back in roaster and add sauerkraut and 1 can water. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 more hours. Add about 2 Tblsp cornstarch to gravy drippings along with salt and pepper to taste. Heat until thickened, stirring frequently, and serve over meat.
