Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp salt
  • 1 lb white fish
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 Tbsp garlic
  • 1 tsp hot chilis
  • 4 parsley sprigs
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme

Preparation

Step 1

Combine 1 cup water, lime juice and salt. Marinate fish in this for 1 hour. Drain, Cook 1 cup water, onions, garlic, chilis, parsley and thyme. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add fish, cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Remove the fish and add 1 tsp. lime juice to broth. Pour over fish and serve.
