Ingredients

  • 6 quarts popped corn

  • 1/2c karo syrup

  • 2c brown sugar

  • 2 sticks butter

  • 1/8 cream of tartar

  • 1/2tsp baking soda

Directions

Cook karo syrup, brown sugar, butter and cream of tartar in sauce pan for 4-5 minutes at a low boil. Add 1/2 tsp of baking soda. Mixture will foam. remove from heat and pour over popcorn. Mix to coat thoroughly. Bake 1 hour at 200 degrees - stirring every 15 minutes
