Linda S. Broccoli Casserole

  • 4 boxes of chopped frozen broccoli
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 pack of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 slices of cheese
  • 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 sleeve of ritz crackers
  • 5 zesta crackers



Step 1

cook 4 boxes of frozen broccoli in 1 glass of water with 1/2 stick of butter for 15 minutes; salt and pepper to taste; add 1/2 pack of shredded cheddar cheese and 3 slices of cheese;
in another small cooker heat 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup and a small can of cream;
add the broccoli to a buttered 9x13 pan; on top of the broccoli add a few crumbled zesta crakers; saturate the zesta crackerw with the cream/ soup mixture; add remaining cheese to top; melt the other half of the butter, and blend with 1 sleeve of ritz crackers; sprinkle the crackers on the top; bake for 35-40 minutes on 350 or until bubbly.
