Silky Garlic Mashed Potates

  • 6 Med. potatoes
  • 1/4 C Butter
  • 6 Cloves garlic; peeled
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/3 C Milk
  • 1/8 Tsp Butter


Preparation time 10mins
Cooking time 35mins


Step 1

1. Peel potates, cover heat to boil w/cloves of garlic then reduce heat. Cook cut up potatoes 20-25min or until tender, drain.
2. Mash potatoes in med bowl until no lumps remain. Add milk in small amounts, beating after each addition.
3. Add butter, salt/pepper. Beat vigorously until potatoes are light & fluffy.
