Ingredients

  • 500g dried dates
  • 1 cup whey protein powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup almond or natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ground almonds to roll balls in

Preparation

Step 1

Chop dates along with protein powder in a food processor. Gradually add all of the other ingredients (except almonds) until well blended.

Shape into balls and roll in almonds. Makes about 48. Store in freezer.
