Ingredients

  • 4 apples
  • 200 grams phyllo sheets commerce
  • 100 g chopped walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 100 g caster sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Puree apples and add the walnuts, cinnamon, sugar and orange juice. Stir the mixture well.

Cut the leaves into wide strips. Butter each sheet, put enough stuffing and wrap it along, like flute.

Place the flutes in greased pan and bake in the oven at 180 degrees (375 F) for about 35 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle finally with powdered sugar or honey.

The recipe stated for ready phyllo sheets, however you can make homemade dough crust.

Optionally serve with ice cream or creme brulee.
