Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups Sliced or diced cooked beets
- 2 t Cornstarch
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 T Butter
- Salt

Preparation
Step 1
Mix cornstarch and sugar together in 1 quart saucepan. Stir in vinegar and water, cook and stir over low heat until thickened. Add butter, beets, extra salt if necessary, reheat thoroughly
