K’s Quick Seafood Gumbo

This seafood gumbo recipe is super quick but tastes like you've been preparing it all day! Serve with cornbread to sop up every last drop. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 8 ounces smoked sausage, cut into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cups chicken broth, low sodium
- 3 cups water
- 12 ounces frozen okra, thawed
- 1 box Tony Chacheres Gumbo Mix
- 1/2 package Louisiana Cajun Gumbo Base
- 2 pounds shrimp, peeled
- 12 ounces cod, cut into small pieces

Step 1
Heat olive oil on medium heat in large stockpot. Add first 5 ingredients and sauté until done, about 10 minutes.
Add next 5 ingredients, stir well and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 25 minutes.
Add shrimp and cod and simmer another 10 min. Serve with cornbread.
