Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup milk
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 5 egg yolks
- 3/4 sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup cream

Preparation
Step 1
Bring milk, bananas and brown sugar to a simmer over medium heat. Cover and reduce heat to low for 10 minutes.
Let cool 5 minutes, then puree - put back on a low heat -
In a separate bowl, beat yolks and sugar until thick - add 1/2 the banana mixture - stir together then add back into the heated banana mixture and continue to cook until thick bubble - stirring constantly.
Add vanilla, salt and cream and put in refrigerator minimum 4 hours.
Then add to ice cream maker per the ice cream maker instructions.
